My name is Mrs. Wollenberg, and I am the Library Media Specialist at Northview. After teaching 7^th grade language arts in Nebraska for 14 years, I accepted the Northview Library Media position at Northview Elementary in the fall of 2005.  I love working with so many different age groups and ability levels.  Mrs.Francis is the Library Media Clerk.  We both would love for you to stop in anytime to introduce yourself to us.

It is our goal to ensure that students are lifelong readers and effective users of ideas and information. Moreover, our goal is to make our library a welcoming place for students and to connect each child with the right book when he or she visits our library. Some of the many resources that can be found in our library are: a variety of fiction (ranging from easy readers to the classics), nonfiction/informational books, biographies, short stories, a variety of specialized research sources, Internet access, AR testing, and a quiet space to study or read.

Parents are welcome (and encouraged) to check out up to five books out anytime during the regular school day that best fits their schedule.  Since kindergartners are only allowed one book checked out at a time, this gives parents the opportunity to have many books available at home to their child(ren). 

If you have a question about your child’s reading, an overdue book, Accelerated Reading, or anything else I could help you with, please do not hesitate to contact me.  Email is probably the best way to get a hold of me, but you are more than welcome to call or stop by the library with any questions.  I look forward to meeting you and your child(ren).
